The time of maturation : The theological formation.4th
Phase
This
period is a return to the studies for three
or four years .
It
will be again in international community
- French-speaking Kinshasa, or Abidjan (RCI
)
- or English-speaking in Jerusalem or in
Nairobi-Kenya 2 Centres. or in South
Africa

If you want to be a priest, then you will
follow the formation required for ordination
(Bible, Dogmatic and moral Theology, Cannon
Law, Pastoral Studies, Social Moral, Missiology...)
- If you prepare a commitment as an layman,
you will complete your professional training.

It
is during the third or fourth year of that
time of study that you will be called to
pronounce your
missionary oath that will make you
a fully-fledged member of the Society of
the Missionaries of Africa.
The Superior General, taking in consideration
the needs of Africa, the commitments of
the Society and your personal capacities
will appoint you then in one of the countries
of Africa or the Middle-East, where we are
involved. |
The candidates
prepare themselves of it to deepen the
Charisma of the Society which consists
in a special orientation
toward Evangelisation and especially
nowdays toward Islam,
the Justice
and Peace, and Ecumenism.
It is up to each one to deepen the history
of the Society in ordr to enter in this
new life
