The Pope is carried on the "Sedia Gestatoria" for the memorable audience the day after the Canonisation ceremony. At left, a group of White Fathers. The Guards, accompanying the Holy Father and the Ushers, were absolutely desparate when they saw how the Africans were jostling the Pope, just to touch his hands	Le Pape est transporté sur la "Sedia Gestatoria" pour l'inoubliable audience du lendemain de la canonisation. Près de son Eminenece se trouve Mgr Guido Del Mestri, Délégué Apostolique pour l'Afrique de l'Est	Fr. Wouters - Postulator of the Cause- presents one of the gifts from the official Delegation of the Ugandan Governement to the Holy Father, a carved ivory tusk from Uganda Le Père Wouters - Postulateur de la Cause - présente au St Père un des cadeaux de la Délégation officielle du Gouvernement de l'Ouganda. Une défense d'éléphant artistement sculptée

Fr Volker, Superior General, beeing greeted by the Pope. Behind them , Bishop McCauley, C.S.C. of Fort Portal, Uganda and Cardinal Agagianian Le Père Volker, Supérieur Général, est salué par le Pape. Derrière se trouve Mgr McCauley, C.S.C. évêque de Fort Portal, Ouganda,ainsi que Son Em. le Cardinal Agagianian	Sister Marie-Alois, White Sister, one of the two Sisters cured from the plague. The miracle was acknowledged for the Canonisation Sœur Marie-Alois, Sœur Blanche. Une des deux Sœurs qui furent guéries de la peste grâce à l'intercession des Martyrs. Le miracle fut reconnu pour la Canonisation

Old Agostino from Uganda. He attended the Canonisation, but could not see anything as his eyes had been plucked from their sockets during the persecution Le vieil Agostino de l'Ouganda. The first man on the left is Dr. Ahmad, a muslim doctor, whose testimony helped very much the Cause, because he had looked after the two Sisters who were cured of the plague. So that the miracle could be recognized. He was the guest of Fr.
